Derry, NH -

The 135,000 square-foot “Academy Building” is the home of Pinkerton’s new freshman academy. It has 29 classrooms, 7 science labs, a culinary arts classroom and dining area, television studio, large lecture hall, and a cafeteria with kitchen. Freshmen take most or all of their classes in this one building.

The building is located in the center of the busy Pinkerton campus, surrounded by academic buildings. During its construction, Eckman instituted strict measures to ensure the safety and security of students continuing to use the campus around the construction site.

The Academy Building features a soaring three-story atrium as well as three skylights to add ample daylight to the interior spaces. A living green roof covers the two-story portion of the building.
