Progress continues on a new medical office building for York Hospital in Kittery.
The 30,000 square-foot building will include spaces for physician offices, phlebotomy and laboratory services, and x-ray diagnostic imaging. It is located on the corner of Route 1 and Walker Street, just over the Memorial bridge from Portsmouth, NH. This project has been described by some as defining the new gateway to downtown Kittery. The building will be highly efficient, with a 12″ insulated panel roof, and high performance windows. Its colonial style will fit in with its historic surroundings.
The facility was designed by Lassel Architects of So. Berwick, Maine. It is scheduled to be completed in July, 2012.
