Project Description

Eckman completed extensive renovations to realize the transformation of the former air base hospital into the Great Bay Community College. Work was performed in multiple phases, allowing the school to use parts of the building as work progressed in others.

The building now contains a total of 50 classrooms, including laboratories for biology, chemistry, nursing, general sciences and veterinary technology.

The interior space of each floor was reconfigured with new walls, floors, ceilings, millwork and doors.  Mechanical and electrical systems were replaced and a new fire protection system installed.
