Project Description
The Town of Hampton selected Eckman as their Construction Manager for two fire station construction projects. Both stations were built concurrently, as we worked with Town personnel to carefully coordinate construction so that their services would not be interrupted.
Beach Station:
A new 11,000 square-foot facility was built adjacent to the existing beach station on Brown Avenue. Eckman utilized pile foundations due to poor local soil conditions, and in addition to 4 equipment bays, the station has offices, bunkrooms, kitchen and dining areas and a precinct meeting room.
Winnacunnet Station:
A 9,000 square-foot addition to the station on Winnacunnet Road added two additional equipment bays as well as a dispatch center and offices for the fire chief, fire prevention officer and fire inspector.
