Project Description

Eckman was selected as Construction Manager for the Expansion of the Keene State College Mason Library. The addition to the existing occupied building, located along the main pedestrian walkway through campus, increased the Library’s capacity, particularly for the Cohen Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies, and created a greater synergy between college programs.

The new Cohen Center features a gallery exhibition space, an auditorium, classroom space, and faculty support space. The unique brick venire on the exterior of the building is dramatic and conveys the seriousness of the department’s purpose.

This was Eckman’s third project for Keene State College.

Architectural design provided by Perry Dean Rogers Architects.
