Project Description

Completed over two phases, the Laurette Sweeney Apartments on South Porter Street, just off South Willow, has a total of 61 units plus meeting space for the Knights of Columbus.

Funding for this project came from multiple sources, including  ARRA (the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act), HOME funds through both the NH Housing Finance Authority (NHHFA) and the City of Manchester, HUD project-based vouchers, as well as capital subsidies and permanent financing through NHHFA.

Eckman served as Construction Manager for the Manchester Housing and Redevelopment Authority for both of the two phases, working with the owner to ensure compliance with all requirements attached to the funding.
